What do you get when you combine 10 chickens, 2 fish, and 22 ears of corn? Dinner for 21, Thai style. Being away from home for this very important holiday was definitely different this year. Thais do not celebrate Thanksgiving so we had a hard time tracking things like turkeys and cranberry sauce down. However, we were very lucky to have the Chiang Mai team come visit for a few days and enjoy the day of thanksgiving with us. They even brought a dvd of some American football games to watch! We invited the Thai staff that we work with as well as some Filippino friends of ours. Everyone had plenty to eat and enjoyed the day. It was the first Thanksgiving dinner ever for our Thai friends and they seemed to have a really great time. We were excited to get to share an American holiday with them.
